Born in Bedford-Styvesant, Brooklyn raised in Brownsville, Brooklyn with his mother as a strong role model. Jermaine overcame various obstacles which created his "Go Getter" attitude to make a name for myself. From the age of 17 while in Paul Robeson High School the love for directing and storytelling began with the help of HBO and Reel Works my first video a documentary called "Nigger" was released. Winning the Hampton's Youth Film Festival Youth Best Documentary in 2005, and runner up for National Emmy for Best Student Documentary were indicators that caused me to pursue my creative talents. However, "Past Victories Make Tomorrow Losers". So I aim forward everyday to acquire different techniques from historic pieces, mentors and educators, to transform my work into Art & connect to the audience. This being said I attended NYC College of Technology to develop my Advertising & Design skills where he obtained a Bachelor of Technology. Majoring in Advertising & Design I acquired not just the technical skills but the knowledge needed to make professional design decisions. While in college I worked along side various organizations and companies as well as independent projects. In 2014 I directed and edited hip-hop videos that went viral with over 800 million viewers and 100K YouTube subscribers. This lead to numerous opportunities such as Directing a biographic piece for one of America's biggest publications as well as becoming a vendor for NYC Board of Education. As of December 2020, I am a Master's of Digital Marketing graduate of Full Sail University. My goal is to become a Creative Director for a Fortune 500 company.
